Acting Auditions
The boys were certain that if they were to just keep on going to acting auditions they would eventually hit upon the opportunity that would change their lives forever. Their mom was obsessed with Cary Grant, and with intention that one or both of her sons could become another Cary Grant (or a pair of Cary Grants), she signed them up for acting auditions.
The first couple of acting auditions they went out on were for the Mickey Mouse Club, and for little Ricky's school chums on I Love Lucy. They got I love Lucy, but they were too little for the Mickey Mouse Club. Soon, acting auditions became part of their regular routine, they were pros, and they knew it.
Then finally it came, after months of attending countless acting auditions for cheesy role on even cheesier projects, they got the chance to play traveling youngsters on Snakes On a Plane who make a heroic effort to save their Game-Boy Advance from being crushed beneath a collapsing snakebite victim only to succumb to the same fate as a giant python coils around them and begins to swallow them whole. They still perk up at the sound of the phrase acting auditions, but have since retired in comfort thanks to multiple guest appearances on ER and the Jimmy Kimmel Show. |
